The Brooks Group, multiple-year winner of The Triad Business Journal’s “Best Place to Work,” is looking for an experienced content marketing leader to join our team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a track record of success in driving sustainable revenue through creative and analytically based marketing efforts, and building and growing a company’s brand identity.

The Director of Content Marketing Will:

  • Create short and long-form content that resonates with TBG target audiences at every stage of the buyer journey.
  • Manage PR and organic social media efforts; partner with Digital Marketing Manager to track engagement and performance.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Learning and Product Innovation and the Sales Team to develop compelling sales collateral, including training program info packets, one- sheets, and presentations.
  • Write SEO-optimized copy for the TBG Website.
  • Spearhead TBG’s SEO efforts.
  • Write a variety of thought-leadership assets including white papers, research reports, guides, eBooks, blog posts, and industry-targeted articles.
  • Partner with the Creative Team on the development of marketing content assets.
  • Assist with internal and external communication projects as needed.
  • Develop and write persona-based email nurture campaigns.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing and the VP of Sales Performance Research to develop new thought-leadership strategies to ensure TBG content stays relevant.
  • Create and manage a monthly content calendar, and track content engagement metrics.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Extensive marketing experience including digital marketing, marketing research, process improvement, and planning.
  • A track record of successful content creation utilizing multiple vehicles including white papers, research reports, eBooks, blog posts, social media posts, sales collateral, and guides.
  • Significant knowledge and experience with SEO is required.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, the following tools is required: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics or similar tool, Email Marketing (HubSpot, Bronto, YesMail, ExactTarget or others), Salesforce or other CRM, Marketing Analytics.
  • Must have proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
  • A track record of successful communication and collaboration across multiple departments is required.

Education:

Undergraduate degree and 5-10 years related marketing experience and/or training.
